| Changes Made in Jersey
Awards Format
The New Jersey Advertising
Club has initiated a number of format changes in order
to simplify procedures for submitting entries for the
37th Annual Jersey Awards competition. Designed and
produced by Oscar Betancur, Art Director, and Michael
Catelli, Vice President, both of the Star Group, the
call for entries will be mailed shortly after the first
of the year. Entry deadline is Febuary 27, 2005.
Entries may now be submitted
in one of two ways. You can use a new online system
developed in conjunction with the Long Island Advertising
Club, or you can use the standard form included in the
Jersey Awards call for entries.
Using the New Jersey Advertising
Club website means that all the work is done for you.
Once all information is entered and submitted, the program
prints a label, totals all entries and then supplies
you with the final cost. All that’s needed is
to affix the printed label onto each entry and forward
all entries via messenger or mail along with a check
to the Ad Club office at 75 Kearny Avenue, PO Box 6,
Kearny, NJ 07032.
Further simplifying the process
is the elimination of the need to place entries on poster
boards. The entries will now be slipped into plastic
bags with an entry form attached. The new heavy-duty
plastic bags come in three sizes, replacing the 11"
x 14" and 12" x 15" matte boards, and
may be purchased from the Ad Club office.
In order to offset costs
for the new online entry system, slight changes were
made in the Jersey Awards fee structure. In addition,
for another flat fee of $150, New Jersey Ad Club members
may advertise or self-promote their agencies or companies
with special signage on sponsor tables located near
the finalists’ displays at the awards dinner.
The fee structure is:
