| Annual Strategic Plan
Revisited
The New Jersey Advertising Club Board
of Directors, incoming, outgoing and remaining members,
met July 19 at Eagle Ridge Condominiums to plot and
plan strategies for the coming year.
Led by Sheila Cohen and Grace DePaola,
the revisited Strategic Plan initially prepared by Allegra
Sandelli in 2002 charged the club to increase membership,
increase committee participation, increase attendance
at Smartalk, Wake-Up Call and other general gatherings,
increase income and increase sponsorships. It also mandated
that the Program, Membership, Promotion, Financial and
Website Committees review their progress quarterly and
report those developments to the board of directors.
It was decided as well to introduce advertising to Adtalk
in the form of two business card ads per issue at a
cost of $50 each.

New Jersey Advertising Month will continue
to be set for May, with events including the Jersey
Awards, connected to the statewide promotion. In this
regard, the club was also charged with increasing its
awareness programs, namely an updated version of Jersey
First to promote the New Jersey advertising community
as well as the organization.
