Steve Adubato, TV personality, author and motivational speaker, fascinated members of the New Jersey Advertising Club and the New Jersey Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America Thursday evening, November 10, at the Woodbridge Hilton as Tim McCloone of Holiday Express, Karen Meleta of Wakefern Foods, Edward Efchak of the North Jersey Media Group and Denise Lange of Words & Music shared their thoughts on Cause Marketing. Candidates Sought for New Jersey Advertising Hall of Fame

The New Jersey Advertising Club is seeking nominations for the 2006 New Jersey Advertising Hall Fame. The deadline for submissions is December 31, 2005, according to Gary Denburg, Ad Club president and event chair.

For the past two holiday seasons, Jim Gearhart, morning talk show host at NJ 101.5 FM, has been complaining about how Christmas is no longer the fete we grew up loving. One of his callers pointed out the irony of how the opinions of a few are affecting the lives of millions. Another was furious that Coke had taken Santa Claus out of its advertising. And that same day, AOL posted a photograph of what appeared to be the lighted Rockefeller Center Christmas tree with the question “What kind of tree?”...read more
