CREATIVE
MARKETING ALLIANCE, Princeton Junction,
took first place at the American Public Health
Association (APHA) 130th Annual Meeting and Exposition
for an exhibit it designed for the Robert Wood
Johnson Foundation. The award-winning entry was
selected from more than 600 exhibitors for its
creativity, innovation, use of space and display.
CMA has also added six new companies to its client
roster: Lynch Martin Attorneys at Law, North Brunswick;
Homasote, West Trenton; Claims Management Services,
Princeton; Preservation & Development Associates,
Ridgewood; International Nanny Association, Princeton
Junction; and the Princeton Junction-based International
Furnishings Design Association (IFDA) Educational

Boonton, has been selected by British luxury car
manufacturer Aston Martin to manage a 25-city
press and consumer event tour, dubbed the “Power,
Beauty and Soul Tour,” for its North American
market. Residential homebuilder Spectrum Skanska,
based in Westchester County, N.Y., has also been
added to the agency’s client roster. LISA
McCARTHY has joined the S3 creative team
as copywriter. Most recently, she was with Publicis,
New York. DANIELLE ADAMS
and SEAN REYNOLDS
have also been hired as Assistant Account Executive
and Traffic Coordinator, respectively. Adams comes
to the agency from ADP, Inc., where she worked
as Account Executive. Reynolds’ most recent
experience was as Client Relations Consultant
at Studio Graphics Inc., N.Y.

Fairfield, has announced a number of recent additions
to its growing list of new clients. They include:

Communications expert MICHAEL
GREENHOUSE has joined the marketing team
of SONNENBERG, HAVILAND
& PARTNERS, Ridgewood. An award-winning
communications strategist, writer and editor,
Greenhouse has over 20 years of experience with
such blue-chip organizations as Hill & Knowlton,
Reuters, Accenture, Ernst & Young, Shearson
Lehman Hutton and Cap Gemini Ernst & Young.
His editorial firm, Greenhouse Communications,
LLP, will be working closely to support the efforts
of Sonnenberg, Haviland & Partners, while
SH&P will add marketing breadth to Greenhouse’s
client service capabilities.
LINDA EPPS has
joined the NJN FOUNDATION
as Vice President, Institutional Relations. Her
responsibilities with the Foundation include individual
giving, especially major and mid-level gifts.
Most recently, Ms. Epps served as Vice President
for College Relations at Bloomfield College. During
her tenure, the College experienced substantial
increased giving, including the completion of
an $8.4 million capital campaign. She also served
as Vice President of Student Affairs, Associate
Dean of Academic Affairs and Dean of Students,
achieving an outstanding reputation for her advocacy
for diversity, equity and access to higher education.

A memorial service for ROBERT
C. WEISS, 74, was held February 22 at the
Old Bergen Church in Jersey City. Mr. Weiss, who
died January 22 in Meadowlands Hospital, Secaucus,
was president of Action Ads in Bloomfield for
many years before retiring. A lifelong resident
of Jersey City and graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson
University, Rutherford, Weiss was president of
the North Jersey Advertising Club in 1964. He
was also an executive board member of the New
Jersey Advertising Club, the Brand Names Council
in New York City and the Outdoor Advertising Trade
Association. A recipient of Distinguished Service
Medal, a Korean War Medal and a United Nations
Medal, Mr. Weiss served with special services
in the Navy for eight years, followed by a two-year
stint in the Army. He is survived by a son, Gary
Sternberg; a daughter, Carol; his companion, Gladys
Sternberg; and a grandchild. |
